Explanation of Timer Versions

Systtem Timer Version 2.9
Offering full tanning bed/booth control with compatibility to use TanTime TT-40 or a T-MAX® Manager front room controller.

Systtem™ Timer Version 3.0
See version 2.9 above.

Systtem™ Timer Version 4.1
Offers the features of 2.9 plus a permanent hour meter, the ability to set a maximum session time, and select a Start Mode in Stand-Alone after a Delay. Also the internal meters may be read and cleared while in stand-alone operation.

Systtem™ Timer Versions 4.3 and 4.4
Offers the features of 4.1 plus the ability to operate with an Intellitan® CCS IV front room controller and the ability to remotely control another Systtem™ or other brand of daisy chained timer. (Address 0 Operation)

Systtem™ Timer Versions 5.3 and 5.4
OEM version of timer software offers the features of 4.1 plus the ability to operate with an Intellitan® CCS IV front room controller and programmable Third Party Interface capability.

Remote Timers

Systtem TT-1 Timer (SY-TT-1)
The Systtem TT-1 is the replacement for the 3-button TT-1 TanTime has been providing for years. This timer uses the same HVA-3 kit, but the SY-TT-1 provides more features than the older TT-1 including 5 internal meters and the ability to interface to Intellitan® or T-Max® timers or controllers.

Systtem Meter Log Sheet
This is a single page Log Sheet for recording the permanent and resettable meters as well as the bulb life meter for for a Systtem timer.

Room Units

RU-DS
The RU-DS is a timer designed to be used either in-room with the tanning bed/booth, or remotely to control another TanTime, Intellitan® or T-Max® Room Unit. The RU-DS interconnects other timers or front room controllers using Cat-5 cable which carry signal and power to the RU-DS The SY-MAK or SY-PAM may be used to interface between 4-wire and Cat-5 cables. The SY-PAM also provides power to several RU-DS timers.

RU-XM
The RU-XM is similar to the RU-DS above, except it is intended to be a drop in replacement for a T-Max® 3A® timer. The RU-XM comes with a plug in power supply and 4-wire modular jacks with 50 feet of flat 4-wire cable.

Room Unit Display Fixture
This document describes the Room Unit Demonstrator which contains a single RU-XM, a single RU-DS, a single SY-PAM, and a single SY-EOL, all mounted in a Plexiglas display fixture. This display is available to our distributors for the purpose of demonstrating our Room Units.

OEM Timer for Sun Capsule
This two-button Timer is supplied to Sun Capsule for their tanning booths.

OEM Timer for Bermuda Triangle
This two-button Timer is supplied to Bermuda Triangle for their tanning booths.

OEM Timer for Peacock Booths
This two-button Timer is supplied to MedTech Lighting Corp. for their Peacock tanning booths.

OEM Timer for Puretan
This 3-board, 2-button timer is supplied to Puretan for installation in their tanning beds.

Systtem Accessories

Systtem Communications Tester (w/ SY-PAM)
The handheld SY-COM-TSTR will test the communication ports of all TanTime Systtem timers in and T-Max® 3A® timers connected in a daisy-chain without the need of a front room controller. A SY-PAM is provided to power op to 10
RU-DS or SY-TT-1 Timers.

Systtem Communications Tester for OEMs
The handheld SY-COM-TSTR will test the communication ports of all TanTime Systtem timers in and T-Max® 3A® timers connected in a daisy-chain without the need of a front room controller. The SY-COM-TSTR will receive it's power from the TPI port on a Systtem OEM Timer.

Multi-Mode Adapter Kit (SY-MAK)
The SY-MAK provides and interface between the 4-contact modular connections, (male or female) used in T-Max® hookup and the 8-contact, CAT-5 cabling used by TanTime Systtem timer (excluding the RU-XM ). The SY-MAK replaces the SY-EMA, listed below, as a standard TanTime Product. This adapter does not provide power to the CAT-5 cable.

Power Adapter Module (SY-PAM)
The SY-PAM provides power and interface between the 4-wire, flat cabling used in T-Max® hookup and the CAT-5 cabling used by TanTime Systtem timer (excluding the RU-XM ). This adapter does provide power to the CAT-5 cable needed by RU-DS timers.

End-of-Line Terminator (SY-EOL)
The SY-EOL provides active termination to CAT-5 cable connections used in a Systtem hookup. One SY-EOL is used in the last TanTime Timer only, connected in a daisy chain fashion using CAT-5 cable. (Not for use with RU-XM Timers)

End-of-Line Terminator (SY-EOL-4W)
The SY-EOL-4W provides active termination to 4-wire flat cable connections used in a Systtem RU-XM or other 4-wire flat cable, daisy chained timer hookup. One SY-EOL-4W is used in the last timer only, connected in a daisy chain fashion using 4-wire flat cable.

Systtem Third Party Interface (SY-TPI)
The SY-TPI provides an interface between TanTime Systtem OEM Timers and Front Room Controllers which are not Systtem or T-Max® compatible.

Extension HVA-3 for Sun Capsule
The Timers provided for Sun Capsule Booths may be located up to 60 feet from the booth with the cable provided and a 50 foot extension cable. To extend the distance further, an Extension HVA-3 must be used. This will allow the timer to be located up to several hundred feet from the booth.
